Great food and nice creole taste that is full of locals.
Simply overpriced. Food was ok but 2 poboys and 2 drinks shouldn't cost 30 dollars. Not for the amount of meat they put on it.
Service and food was good both days I went. I got the seafood platter and the roast beef po-boy
Still some of the best poboys ever!
Very disappointed after all the good things I'd heard. Neither hot sausage nor roast beef poboy had any meat to speak of on it. My husband left hungry
Great poboy. Thats all I had, could have eaten two.
Little nice hole in the wall. Food was on point. Fast service. Relaxed atmosphere.
As you come in you order first then sit at a table. First thing the staff member at the register couldn’t understand a few things very well with the order that’s written down on their menu. Then was being kinda of rude towards us even tho was asking for ranch dressing. The food is not really much to brag. It was good but wasn’t all of that. Also tried the red beans and rice and it felt off on flavor. The food is pricey. For certain plates you don’t get what you pay in portion. We was over charged also so we had to get our refund for the over charge or mistake in the order. It was an ok but not too smooth experience.
If you want to pay an overpriced amount for some average food, this is the place. I get they're in the heart of Metairie but $20(with tax and extra charge to dress it) for a crawfish poboy is absolutely ridiculous and it wasn't very good.
The food was delicious especially roast beef with gravy PoBoy. The gumbo was great and the red beans. Great prices as well. Got a whole bunch of fried pickles for like $3, can't beat it. The service was awesome as well!
Really enjoyed it. The special sauce for the homemade onion rings was great, especially on my roast beef poboy!!
Amazing poboys. Every bite was amazing! 😉
Good food. A little slow at the counter
A landmark of Metairie and one of the best poboys around! If you want an amazing Poboy Leave the tourists places and take a trip out to Parrans
Weren't allowed to alter our order off the menu for the first time after being regular customers for yrs. Poorest experience there we've ever had due to the woman unwilling to take our order as given. We hadn't dealt with her before. We will go back & hopefully not have to order from her.
Excellent 👍 service and food. The restaurant is always clean.
Great place, great food and plenty of it, family business atmosphere. I was just driving around looking for a local joint when I saw the sign and new it was going to be good! Lots of seating, well lit but not too much that you felt like you were sitting outside. Just a nice warm cozy place to get a great hot meal with lots of local flavor!
Placed an order by phone for a double char burger with cheddar cheese and ketchup and mayo. Went and picked it up and when I got home to eat it found pickles all over the burger. Called and spoke to a manager who said I would have to bring it back to get it made correctly. Never going back there again. This was the one on Vets. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
My son and I got the Ribeye poboy and it was delicious along with some fries and onion rings!
roast beef is as good as advertised. enough to douse the meat but doesnt make the bread soggy. had the side salad with cajun mayo dressing. generous amount for a side dish. food came out fast, place was clean. parking wasnt an issue but may be during peak hours
Love the shrimp and oyster poboy and also the roast beef poboy.
The roast beef po-boy was really good. The shrimp on a bun was very good with lots and lots of shrimp. The red beans and rice are worth the stop alone. Very very good. Very friendly staff, fast service. Only complaint is the points are only 8 inches, should be at least 12 with an option for 16.
Good Muffaletta, nice service.
Place has amazing food. Poboys on point
Parran's Po-Boys & Restaurant is a great place to stop for lunch. The service is great with friendly staff. The seafood po-boy is a delicious choice. This restaurant is family friendly too.
Great PO-BOY'S!! But it' all good.
Great staff willing to go the extra mile to see your meal is prepared just the way you like. Truly a New Orleans can't miss!
I got the roast beef po boy and it was very enjoyable. Can't think of anything witty. Good sandwich at a good price. Would go back
Shrimp Po Boy was overflowing with shrimp but bread was dry, crumbled to touch with absolutely no flavor. Red beans and rice were Excellent and creamy, potato salad was ok. For a place with stellar ratings its ashamed I had to send it back to get better Po boy., but It came back with soft bread and hot. Catfish was amazing worth every bite!😊
The good is great but their hours are not the best. I commend them for having family come before commerce, but it sure would have been nice to have abbreviated hours over New Years rather than being closed.
Our experience has been okay. They charge extra for everything. The food is good, but for $16.95 for an oyster poboy, what is the $0.35 for "dressed" really covering when it comes at the cost of customer loyalty?
One of the best poboys I've had in a while. The crawfish poboy shall not be passed up
Great atmosphere, superb sandwiches, quick service. Plus didn't mind 4 old guys taking up a table for awhile.
Grew up eating their amazing roast beef poboys and years later... They didn't disappoint!!! Soo worth it!
Parrans poboys are family friendly and pretty fast I've never seen them run out of Roast Beef like everywhere else bc this is the best Roast Beef poboy around gravy gushing out well worth it. My girls do their Shrimp poboys. Multiple locations even Uptown now
Paaran's Poyboys is one of my favorite places to get a poor boy sandwich. This is absolutely the best place to get a meatball poboy. The seafood mufaletta sandwich is big enough to feed 2 (or 3) people. If you are in the mood for dessert, be sure to try the carrot cake. I was pleasantly surprised of how good it was!
The food was good, everything was hot and the service was fast
Good 2 the last drop
Made a 60 mile detour just to get their roast beef po-boy. Worth it, and then some. What I miss most about NOLA.
Great sandwiches, but they need to step up their french fry game
Shrimp po-boy was not good at all! Spent $30 on a 4-inch and 8-inch sandwich with high expectations, and they were not met. Ketchup was good though, had to dip my shrimp in something. I asked for my sandwich to be dressed, there was barely any mayonnaise, tomatoes were about the size of a quarter. Shrimp did not have any flavor, a tasteless sandwich. If you want an authentic New Orleans po-boy this is not the place to get it.
Good old fashioned neighborhood joint. Everything is good.
Fast service, no frills, very busy lunch traffic ...meatball poboy
